ABOUT US
Silver Shoe Productions began when three local performing artists realised there was a gap in the market for young people . We saw the need for interactive, quality performances that were fun. We decided to start a small theatre company, and with our own (and a few borrowed) children, put on pantomimes in the school holidays. These pantomimes proved so successful that the decision to develop a Performing Arts School was formed to help introduce children to the arts - Silver Shoe Performers.
Classes will be held at Coasters Musical Theatre, a small working theatre in Paraparaumu with a stage and lighting system, perfect for a first introduction into live theatre. All the teachers at Silver Shoe have worked with children in the performing arts, and are active performers in the industry so can pass on valuable first hand experience to our classes. Silver Shoe Performers can expect to be in small class sizes so that they get plenty of time to learn. Everyone will get the opportunity to shine in the end of year shows.
We all value the importance of the arts to create confident, articulate, passionate people who love entertaining, and educating others in drama, song and movement.
